Make the export match the work

Three formats, plenty of ways to use your data

Choose the output that fits the person or process receiving it.

Excel for review and reporting

  • Review and analyze: Open an XLSX workbook to check captured values, analyze totals, or share structured results with a colleague.
  • Choose your layout: Keep document summaries and line items on separate worksheets, or bring them together on one data tab for filtering and analysis.

CSV for everyday imports

  • Prepare data for your next tool: Use familiar tables when your accounting application, reporting system, or spreadsheet workflow accepts CSV imports.
  • Keep related files together: Receive summary and item tables as appropriate for your data, packaged in a ZIP download when several files are needed.

JSON for a structured handoff

  • Share fields and repeating details: Download structured document data for a colleague, business application, or integration partner.
  • Download without coding: Choose JSON from the same export menu to prepare your handoff without writing an API request.

Pick the Excel layout that makes the job easier

An invoice register and a line-item analysis need different views of the same data. Choose the layout that makes your next task easier.

LayoutHow your data is arrangedUseful for
Standard ExcelDocument-level fields and repeating item data on separate worksheetsReviewing invoice totals, maintaining a document register, and checking summaries separately from item details
XLSX (one tab)General fields alongside each line item on one data worksheet, with validation information on a separate worksheetFiltering by supplier, comparing purchased items, and building pivot tables with document context beside each item

In the one-tab layout, supplier names, invoice references, totals, and other general values repeat beside each item row. Use item amounts for line-item analysis, or the standard summary layout when you want one record per document to check document totals. Documents without line items still get a data row.

Bring a reporting batch together without assembling it by hand

Combine related results, keep downloads recognizable, and carry on with other work while larger exports are prepared.

Turn many source files into one reporting set

  • Combine matching documents: Bring results for the same document type into a consistent output instead of copying separate downloads into a master workbook.
  • Keep different document types organized: Export invoices and delivery notes together while keeping their different fields in suitable spreadsheet or CSV files. Multiple files arrive in one ZIP archive.
  • Reuse your results: Download the same reporting set as Excel, CSV, or JSON without uploading or extracting the documents again.

Recognize the files you download

  • Save the renaming work: Suparse names export files using the source filename or document type, with timestamps where appropriate.
  • Spot the layout you chose: One-tab Excel workbooks include a recognizable one-tab suffix.
  • Share the complete output: When an export needs several files, Suparse handles the archive and individual filenames for you.

Keep working during large exports

  • Export larger sets together: Exports with more than 1,000 documents with available extraction results are prepared in the background, so you can request the whole reporting set.
  • Return when the file is ready: Follow preparation on the Exports page and download the finished file while continuing with other tasks in the meantime.
  • Use the data already processed: Exports use saved extraction results. Let any remaining documents finish processing before preparing a report that needs their data too.

One reporting set, three possible handoffs

Suppose the selected batch contains invoices and delivery notes. Choose the output for the recipient while keeping each document type's fields in a suitable structure.

A colleague needs an Excel review
Choose XLSX for worksheets they can inspect. Standard Excel separates summaries and item data; one-tab Excel repeats general fields beside items. Different document types can require multiple workbooks, packaged together.
Another tool accepts CSV tables
Choose CSV for a table-based import. Summary and item tables are supplied as appropriate, with multiple files packaged in a ZIP. Check the receiving tool's required columns before importing.
An integration partner needs structured data
Download JSON from the same saved results for your partner to inspect and map. See Email to JSON for a concrete example of mapping email data into an application record.
